<span style="font-family: 'Times New Roman', serif; font-size: 14pt; text-align: justify;">Delhi Daredevils has launched its new
official song titled </span><i style="font-family: 'Times New Roman', serif; font-size: 14pt; text-align: justify;">‘Munday Dilli Ke’</i><span style="font-family: 'Times New Roman', serif; font-size: 14pt; text-align: justify;">
to herald the coming season of DLF India Premier League. The song, sung by
Jaspreet Jasz and composed by Arijit Datta and Micu Patel, has already pumped up
the excitement among the team’s fans.</span><br />
<div class="MsoNoSpacing" style="text-align: justify;">
<span style="font-family: 'Times New Roman', serif; font-size: 14pt;">After the song was launched on Delhi
Daredevils’ Radio Partner Fever 104 FM on Monday evening, Delhi Daredevils fans
have welcomed the new song whole-heartedly. Fans have used the Delhi Daredevils
Facebook page and Twitter handle to express their delight at the lively new
song.<o:p></o:p></span></div>

<div class="MsoNoSpacing" style="text-align: justify;">
<span style="font-family: 'Times New Roman', serif; font-size: 14pt;">GMR Sports Head (Marketing) Hemant Dua
said the new song is in keeping with the vibrant feel that the squad has with
players skipper Virender Sehwag, vice-captain Mahela Jayawardene, Kevin
Pietersen, David Warner, Ross Taylor and Irfan Pathan. “The song will appeal to
anyone who listens to it,” he said.<o:p></o:p></span></div>
<div class="MsoNoSpacing" style="text-align: justify;">
<span style="font-family: 'Times New Roman', serif; font-size: 14pt;">“The theme for the song is in keeping
with our Dare to Succeed philosophy and a clarion call to all Delhi Daredevils
supports to come out and play on the frontfoot,” he said. “More importantly,
this was commissioned in response to a demand from our supporters to revamp the
song.”<o:p></o:p></span></div>
<div class="MsoNoSpacing" style="text-align: justify;">
<span style="font-family: 'Times New Roman', serif; font-size: 14pt;">Arjit Datta said it was a wonderful
experience putting the song together for the Delhi Daredevils. “Micu and I
loved doing it. It was pure magic and the manner in which the song has panned
out made us realise that we were sitting on something big. The song has an
urban, in your face, touch to it, with the dhol adding a Punjabi flavor.”<o:p></o:p></span></div>
<span style="font-family: 'Times New Roman', serif; font-size: 14pt; line-height: 115%;">Jaspreet Jaz – who calls himself a <i>Dilli ka munda</i> at heart and has sung in
Telugu and Hindi movies – said he loved singing the new official song of the
Delhi Daredevils. “I have followed the response to the song and feel humbled by
the overwhelming show of support already,” he said.</span></div>Delhi Daredevilshttp://www.blogger.com/profile/15809362221690081827noreply@blogger.com3tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2433960387405379411.post-4320577604875704712012-03-05T22:06:00.000+05:302012-03-05T22:07:49.704+05:30The new Official Delhi Daredevils song<div dir="ltr" style="text-align: left;" trbidi="on">

<div class="MsoNoSpacing" style="text-align: justify;">

<div style="text-align: justify;">
In life, the only thing that is equal is the number of hours in a day. Some wise man said that, I didn’t. However, on Monday, being a part of the Delhi Daredevils super fans, I found my motivation going through the roof. I was in exceptional company. My peers Arjun Vajpai, Reena Kaushal Dharmasaktu and Arun Bhardwaj are in a league of their own. I have a lot to learn from each one of them and also from the team itself. </div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
</div>
<a name='more'></a>I am not a big TV fan, I don’t have a TV at home. If you asked me about the news or even the latest fashion trends (given that I am extremely fashionable) I wouldn’t be able to tell you. As for cricket, like tennis, it’s a big-money sport and here to stay. Every country has its big money sport. In New Zealand its rugby and the Black Caps (national rugby team), in the USA its every major league sport (baseball, basketball and American football come to mind) and in Europe probably tennis and cycling.<br />
<div style="text-align: justify;">
I have no blanket statements to make, I believe every professional sportsperson has the same set of challenges. Managing time, adversity, mental makeup, funding and most of all the desire to compete at our damndest best. Is cricket overdone in India? I think so. But then, rugby is overdone in New Zealand. Thus, there is no use in debating the fine-points. </div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
What we can debate is the quality of players and after reading up on the Delhi Daredevils team and following the triseries that India is currently playing, I must say that I was very impressed with the pressure these chaps are under, day in and day out. In some ways, triathletes overthink travel, rest, etc. But, every sport has some takeaways and I believe there are lessons to be learned about professionalism and performance when the odds are not so good. </div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
So, the Daredevils are at the bottom of the bracket right now. However, in picking some off-beat endurance sport enthusiasts, I believe the team is sending the message that it ain’t over till the bell rings. </div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
In the past two years, my personal journey through sport has taken a few turns, ups, downs and sine-wavy meanders. However, I have persisted. Even in my lowest moments, I have felt the sun shining on my back from all my long runs in countries where fresh-air and freedom to cycle without fear could be taken for granted. </div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
In saying that, I believe even more firmly than before that India has been the most incredible supporter of our achievements. I believe the tide is changing for the better for the fringe sports. </div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
Additionally, I think true Daredevilry implies living life on the OFFENSIVE, not crouching in some corner apologizing for your talents and your dreams. Yes, most of them are the size of mountains most never imagine possible scaling but, that’s the beauty of life.. unless its too much, how will you run freely and pursue the ultimate calling? That is food for thought! </div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
I am eagerly looking forward to being a great brand champion and looking at this as a new lease on my own life in sport. Khelo front foot pe! I am liking this slogan!</div>

<a name='more'></a>GMR Sports Head (Marketing) Hemant Dua said the Superfans exhibit a similar Dare-to-Succeed approach to their respective pursuits as the Delhi Daredevils cricketers. “Daredevilry is an attitude that is developed over time and not an act of impulse,” he said. “We want to showcase the fact that everyone can be a daredevil no matter which walk of life one is in. Our Superfans encompass a diverse range – from a housewife to a student, from a Government employee to an entrepreneur – but they all bound by the common thread of daredevilry.”</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
Mr. Dua elaborated on plans to connect with the entire spectrum of people in the region. “Our marketing campaign for the year will revolve around the banter between our cricketers and our diehard fans, through these Superfans,” he said. “These wonderful flagbearers of daredevilry will also take part in road shows through the year to inculcate this spirit among the people of the National Capital Region of Delhi. The Delhi Daredevils team belongs to this amazing city and wants to contribute to its overall development as a world class city.” </div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
GMR Sports Head (Cricket) and Delhi Daredevils Mentor TA Sekar said the players would benefit from an interaction with the four Super Fans. “Cricketers have always admired achievers from other walks of life. The Delhi Daredevils squad will draw from the experiences of the Super Fans and be able to imbibe some of the learning into their own approach to life in general and their cricket in particular,” he said.</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
“We have strengthened our squad this season with the inclusion of daredevils like vice-captain Mahela Jayawardene, Kevin Pietersen and Andre Russell so that we can mount a serious challenge. And we draw strength from the tremendous support our team and players have always got from the fans here. This initiative will come as a shot in the arm for our squad.”</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
The four Super Fans expressed delight at being inducted into the Delhi Daredevils fold. Anuradha Vaidyanathan said speed is something that she could not live without – like the pace bowler Umesh Yadav. “Just like the Delhi Daredevils team, I love beating stereotypes black and blue,” she said. Teenager Arjun Vajpai said he enjoys watching the Daredevils as much as he love climbing. “I am proud of the Delhi Daredevils and I cheer for the team with the same passion that took to me the summit of Mount Everest,” he said.</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
Arun Bhardwaj said he would not miss tracking a Delhi Daredevils game. “I love watching its batsmen hit the ball out of the ground,” he said. Reena Kaushal Dharmshaktu sees similarities in her adventures to Virender Sehwag. “My passion for mountaineering is like what he has for his batting. My tryst with skiing is like his penchant to bowl as well,” she said.</div>

In doing that, Reena Kaushal Dharmshaktu not only braved blizzards, crevasses and temperatures below minus 40 degrees Celsius but also encouraged people to think about their ultimate ambition and to take steps towards turning that dream into reality.<br />
She continues to seek new horizons and at the same time campaign for the Leave-No-Trace philosophy. She likes to make people more aware about the importance of preserving the environment. She wishes that people would realise that every little thing – separating the biodegradable waste form the non-degradable waste – can contribute majorly to a better environment. She was part of a 15-woman cycling expedition -- Go Green Girls – from Kolkata to Kanyakumari, covering nearly 3000km in 35 days in early 2011 and promote a clean, green and healthy environment.<br />

This freelance outdoor instructor from Darjeeling has made Delhi her home. An experienced mountaineer, she has been on several expeditions in the Himalayas and has received the prestigious Tenzing Norgay National Adventure Award. In pursuing her dreams, she has shown that she is mentally and physically strong with tolerance for adversity and uncertainty. Indeed, Reena Kaushal Dharmshaktu showcases indefatigable spirit that embodies daredevilry. We are honoured to welcome her as a Delhi Daredevils Super Fan.</div>

He would be down with malaria each year. And, what’s more, he underwent four major surgeries to treat parotid tumour. But from July 2000 when he embarked on a solo run from Haridwar to Baghpat, Arun Bhardwaj has shown reserves of inner strength as he as India’s only ultramarathon runner.<br />
<div style="text-align: justify;">
He became the first Indian representative in any 24-hour ultramarathon when he logged 138.172km and finished ninth in the IAU Asia 24-hour Track Championships in Taiwan in March 2002. His last major exploit was finishing the Badwater Ultramarathon. Covering 217km non-stop, it is the most demanding and extreme running race offered anywhere on the planet. </div>

<div style="text-align: justify;">
He believes the world has not dared to look to the real source of all true greatness. Most of us simply do not dare look within ourselves for the unbelievable strength and capacities that sit dormant within us. Our true inner capacities far outshine the dimensions of our minds and bodies.</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
He loves the tears that flows down his cheeks when he in running the ultras, exploring the unknown inner world experiencing spiritual ecstasy. He sleeps just four hours each night and spends one sleepless night every week. For, he clocks 160-200 hours of training each week besides working at the Planning Commission. </div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
The 43-year-old’s relentless pursuit of his dreams, fuelled by his indomitable spirit, is inspirational. As a wonderful flagbearer of Daredevilry, we are very proud to welcome Arun Bhardwaj as a Delhi Daredevils Super Fan.</div>

He also struggled with loss of appetite and tough living conditions at very high altitudes but his daredevil attitude took Arjun Vajpai to the roof of the world as the youngest Indian. He was 16 years and 11 months old when he scaled Mount Everest on May 29, 2010.<br />
<div style="text-align: justify;">
He has not rested on his oars after Everest, succeeding as the youngest climber atop Lhotse and the more dangerous Mt Manaslu. Not even heavy rainfall and landslides and an earthquake could shift his focus or his determination to succeed the Mt Manaslu expedition. He will also soon embark on a mission to the Poles and also hopes to become the first Indian to scale K2. </div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
At an age when most Indians are making that transition to being young adults, he has has stared death in the face not a few times but he has learnt to react positively to this challenge. He has also learnt to seek new horizons as he pushes himself to the limit.</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
For one so young, Arjun Vajpai is the personification of daredevilry as an attitude developed over a number of years. It is our pleasure to welcome him into our fold as a Delhi Daredevils Superfan.</div>

She has a couple of degrees in Computer Engineering, a PhD in Electrical Engineering and manages a small team of consultants dealing in Intellectual Property Rights. Anuradha Vaidyanathan teaches at IIT Ropar and IIM Ahmedabad. Her curiosity has taken her to a number of places around the world.<br />
<div style="text-align: justify;">
So, do we hear you ask: “What’s the big deal? How does she become a Daredevil?” </div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
Well, Anu, as he likes to be known, competes in a triathlon version called the Ironman and it involves swimming over 3.8km swim, bicycling across 180km and running 42.2km. And when she gets bored with taking part in Ironman competitions, she prefers the ‘easier; Ultraman version – involving a 10km swim, 420km bicycle ride and an 84.4km run over three days! </div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
The Delhi-born 30-year-old has managed to compete consistently and most of all, keep her love for this sport alive. She has found that if one loves something, one will always find a way to do it. She dislikes the very thought of not trying, sets her own limits, is persistent and defies eats a lot of stereotypes to make her dreams come true. </div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
Her passion inspires everyone who knows her to not accept status quo and to make things happen. We are sure you will agree that she is a worthy flagbearaer of Daredevilry. We are proud to give Anuradha Vaidyanathan, wearer of many hats, one more hat to wear – that of being a Delhi Daredevil Super Fan. </div>

Mahela Jayawardene, Sri Lanka’s captain who will turn out for Delhi Daredevils
this season, has said he will complement the big-hitting batsmen Virender Sehwag,
David Warner and the newly-acquired Kevin Pietersen and would try to play the
role of a finisher. <o:p></o:p></span></div>
<div class="MsoNoSpacing" style="text-align: justify;">
<span style="font-family: 'Times New Roman',serif; font-size: 12pt;"></span></div>
<a name='more'></a>“I will leave those guys to do the big
hitting and do what I know best: control the innings and finish off games, if I
can,” Jayawardene told ESPNcricinfo’s Tariq Engineer. “Wherever they want me to
bat is fine. I will try and find a role in the team.”<o:p></o:p><br />
<div class="MsoNoSpacing" style="text-align: -webkit-auto;">
<span style="font-family: 'Times New Roman',serif; font-size: 12pt;">Jayawardene
said he was pleased to be part of a franchise with a consistent record. “Obviously,
you hope that someone will pick you up and you get to play in the IPL. Delhi
has had four good seasons. It will be good to be part of that.”<o:p></o:p></span></div>
<div class="MsoNoSpacing" style="text-align: -webkit-auto;">
<span style="font-family: 'Times New Roman',serif; font-size: 12pt;">He
said he was looking forward to the challenge of getting used to how Delhi
Daredevils does things and understand how it wants to play. He said the key to
a successful season was getting everyone in the squad on the same page and
chasing the same goals. “You have to have a very positive mind to go through
these five or six weeks of cricket. It is very arduous. How you manage losing
as a team is very important. How you come back and win two games to get the
momentum back ... it is a roller coaster. You have to enjoy it. There is no
other way of doing it,” he said.<o:p></o:p></span></div>
<div class="MsoNoSpacing" style="text-align: justify;">
<span style="font-family: 'Times New Roman',serif; font-size: 12pt;">Jayawardene said the shortest version of
the game requires both technical and mental adjustments. “You need to find what
your strengths are and any areas in which you can improve. Everything happens
so quickly. You have to adjust accordingly and make decisions with a clear
mind. Everything you do is not going to be the right thing, but if you have a
clear mind and make the adjustments you will do well,” he said.<o:p></o:p></span></div>

<div style="text-align: justify;">
BANGALORE, February 4: Delhi Daredevils said the addition of Sri Lanka captain Mahela Jayawardene and young all-rounders Andre Russell (West Indies) and Doug Bracewell (New Zealand) would help the team stay competitive throughout the coming Indian Premier League season.</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
“We are pleased with the acquisitions at the Player Auction here today and are confident we can be competitive through the season,” said Team Mentor TA Sekar. “Going into the auction, we were very clear that we would strengthen our middle-order batting and look for allrounders. We are happy to have found what we targeted.”</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
</div>
<a name='more'></a>He said Jayawardene would be a source of strength for the Delhi Daredevils middle-order. “There can be no doubt that Mahela will make a difference to the team with his vast experience and his approach,” he said. “We are delighted that we could add a true blue professional of his stature to our roster.”<br />
<div style="text-align: justify;">
In 106 T20 matches, Jayawardene has scored 2631 runs with two centuries and 17 half-centuries. His strike-rate has been 136.81 runs. With 1136 runs in 49 IPL matches, he has been among the most prolific batsmen in the tournament since its inception in 2008. He has had a stellar career for Sri Lanka, playing 128 Tests, 354 one-day internationals and 35 T20 internationals.</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
Sekar said that in Russell and Bracewell the Delhi Daredevils found the quality all-rounders it was looking for. “We wanted players who could bat explosively in the death overs and give the team four effective overs. We believe Andre and Doug are exciting talent and will live up to our expectations,” he said of the young all-rounders. </div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
The 23-year-old Jamaican Russell has played one Test, 14 one-day internationals and five T20 internationals for the West Indies while Bracewell, 21, has played four Tests, three ODIs and two T20 internationals for New Zealand.</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
The addition of Kevin Pietersen to the side this season, on transfer from Deccan Chargers, and the recruitment of some exciting Indian talent like Pawan Negi, Manprit Juneja, Kuldeep Raval and Punit Bisht are all steps towards ensuring that Delhi Daredevils goes the distance in the coming IPL season,” Sekar said. “We have high quality fast bowling and efficient spinners and are confident that we have the combination we have been wanting.”</div>

Team Manager. <o:p></o:p></span></div>
<div class="MsoNoSpacing" style="text-align: justify;">
<span style="font-family: "Times New Roman","serif"; font-size: 12.0pt;"></span></div>
<a name='more'></a>Making the announcement today, GMR
Sports’ Business Chairman Kiran K Grandhi welcomed Simon’s elevation and
Sekar’s return. “I am sure that Simons’ taking over as Head Coach and Sekar’s

and become most competitive again,” Mr Grandhi said. <o:p></o:p><br />
<div class="MsoNoSpacing" style="text-align: justify;">
<span style="font-family: "Times New Roman","serif"; font-size: 12.0pt;">Delhi Daredevils captain Virender Sehwag
said it would be exciting working with Simons as Head Coach. “Eric has done a
good job as Bowling Coach and now he can do that as Head Coach. I have a very
good relationship with Eric. He has given me some good suggestions and he is a
man with has a lot of experience in cricket and in life. I think our
partnership will work well for the team,” he said. <o:p></o:p></span></div>
<div class="MsoNoSpacing" style="text-align: justify;">
<span style="font-family: "Times New Roman","serif"; font-size: 12.0pt;"> “Eric can make a difference as has been with
the team for a couple of years as Bowling Coach. If someone else had come, he
would have to start from the scratch. It is good Eric has taken over and I am
hoping he will do a good job. He has spent nearly four years working in India
and has worked with a lot of Indian and foreign boys. He has been working with Umesh Yadav and
Varun Aaron and they are our biggest assets in Delhi Daredevils,” Sehwag said.<o:p></o:p></span></div>

dynamic and exciting place for any cricketer to be involved in at the moment.
To have the trust and confidence shown in me as coach is something I am grateful
for. It is committed united of owners, management and players,” he said. <o:p></o:p></span></div>
<div class="MsoNoSpacing" style="text-align: justify;">
<span style="font-family: "Times New Roman","serif"; font-size: 12.0pt;">Sekar said he would enjoy the challenge
of getting the Delhi Daredevils campaign on track. “I have always believed that
the Daredevils have a pool of talent that can make the opposition wary,” he
said. “It will be wonderful working with Eric and his set of coaches, Team
Manager Aashish Kapoor and the exciting bunch of players led by Virender
Sehwag.”<o:p></o:p></span></div>
<div class="MsoNoSpacing" style="text-align: justify;">
<span style="font-family: "Times New Roman","serif"; font-size: 12.0pt;">Simons said he was very confident that
some changes that have already been planned would help the team do justice to
its ability. “I know that we didn’t do well at all last season and were
disappointed with the results, but I
also know that it won’t take a lot of tweaking, just a few changes, some
thinking out of the box and some more strategising to turn around from where we
were last year to competing for the semifinals,” he said. <o:p></o:p></span></div>
<div class="MsoNoSpacing" style="text-align: justify;">
<span style="font-family: "Times New Roman","serif"; font-size: 12.0pt;">“There are many exciting cricketers in
IPL, none more so that Virender Sehwag. He is a dynamic cricketer with the
ability to turn a match around a game in a matter of a few overs. He is one of
those individuals that the opposition fears tremendously because of what he is
able to do. He is a clear thinker about the game. I am excited to work with him
as captain. <o:p></o:p></span></div>

<span style="font-family: "Times New Roman","serif"; font-size: 12.0pt;">“I know that both of us are committed to
the Delhi Daredevils. We don’t have egos going into the job. It is really about
the team, the unit and the objectives we set. I am excited to be working with
him as I am about developing strategies for the team as individuals and the
unit as a whole. In doing that and tweaking a few things, I believe we will be
as successful as the talent in this team deserves to be. We are fortunate that
we have a leader of the caliber of Virender Sehwag.”<o:p></o:p></span></div>

coach of the Delhi Daredevils in its opening two seasons when the squad made it
to the semifinals. He then moved to Mumbai Indians as Director and the team was

DELHI:</span></b><span style="font-family: "Times New Roman","serif"; font-size: 12.0pt;">
Delhi Daredevils’ David Warner, who made his battling maiden Test century for
Australia and was named man of the match against New Zealand at Hobart on
Monday, is looking forward to being selected to play the coming Test series
against India and expects it to be a most competitive series. <o:p></o:p></span></div>
<div class="MsoNoSpacing" style="text-align: justify;">
<span style="font-family: "Times New Roman","serif"; font-size: 12.0pt;"></span></div>
<a name='more'></a>“It was nice to get to the milestone of
a Test hundred but it was disappointing not to be able to help Australia over
the line,” he said from Hobart, hoping that the century and the show of
character would secure him a place in the Australian side against India. “The
Boxing Day Test match is always special and, more so, against India. Hopefully
we can play well,” he said.<o:p></o:p><br />
<div class="MsoNoSpacing" style="text-align: justify;">
<span style="font-family: "Times New Roman","serif"; font-size: 12.0pt;">Warner recalled that there was much
intensity during India’s last tour of Australia and does not expect the coming
series to be very different. “That some of us have played in DLF Indian Premier
League over the last four years will surely help the players understand one
another better but I don’t think that this familiarity will take the edge away
when we are on the field,” he said.<o:p></o:p></span></div>
<div class="MsoNoSpacing" style="text-align: justify;">
<span style="font-family: "Times New Roman","serif"; font-size: 12.0pt;">“Lots of things were going on when India
toured Australia the last time in 2007-08 but that is what makes cricket.
Everyone likes to play very seriously and that alone should ensure that none
changes the attitude on the field. There are always a couple of players who
like to chat up a bit and get under people’s skins,” he said.<o:p></o:p></span></div>
<div class="MsoNoSpacing" style="text-align: justify;">
<span style="font-family: "Times New Roman","serif"; font-size: 12.0pt;">The 25-year-old from Paddington fondly
remembered the encouragement he has received from Delhi Daredevils captain and
India star Virender Sehwag and other team-mates over the last three years. <o:p></o:p></span></div>
<div class="MsoNoSpacing" style="text-align: justify;">
<span style="font-family: "Times New Roman","serif"; font-size: 12.0pt;">“Playing for Delhi Daredevils has
obviously helped me as I worked with a set of world class players like Sehwag,
Daniel Vettori, Glenn McGrath and others like GG (Gautam Gambhir), Morne
Morkel, Ashish Nehra and Dinesh Karthik. They have all egged me on with their
comments and feedback and that has allowed me to mature as a player,” he said. <o:p></o:p></span></div>
<div class="MsoNoSpacing" style="text-align: justify;">
<span style="font-family: "Times New Roman","serif"; font-size: 12.0pt;">“I will not forget how when I joined
Delhi Daredevils, Sehwag told me that I would be a better Test cricketer than a
Twenty20 player when I had not yet played first class cricket. When I asked him
how he could predict that, Sehwag shared his theory of how everyone would be in
the slips and I could play my shots freely,” Warner said.<o:p></o:p></span></div>
<div class="MsoNoSpacing" style="text-align: justify;">
<span style="font-family: "Times New Roman","serif"; font-size: 12.0pt;">Warner was spotted by the Delhi
Daredevils scouts TA Sekar and Aashish Kapoor at the Emerging Players
tournament in Australia in July 2008. He has scored 769 runs for Delhi
Daredevils in 31 DLF Indian Premier League matches including a highest of 107
not out off just 69 balls against Kolkata Knight Riders in Delhi in March 2010
and five half centuries. He is looking forward to returning to Delhi in April
for the 2012 season. <o:p></o:p></span></div>
